Christopher Stites, co-Champion,
Tennessee Bass Federation 2006 State Tournament
On Saturday, June 25, 2005 the Tennessee Bass Federation held the Junior Bassmaster State Tournament on Old Hickory Lake.  There were approximately 25 youth, ages 15-18, competing for the state championship and a spot on the State Team and represent Tennessee to fish the 2006 Junior Bassmasters Classic on Lake Toho.  The fishing was tough but Christopher fished hard and had 2 fish over the 12" limit including the tournament lunker that measured over 22".  His total weight was 6.15 lbs, (calculated based on length).  Christopher tied another competitor for total weight.  The rules used to decide the tiebreaker say that the competitor with the most fish wins the tie.  Nick Kelly had 5 fish and was declared the winner.  Jason will be co-Champion as far as Team Nashville Bassmasters are concerned.  He is a fine fisherman and has a strong start to what will surely become a great career if he so choses.

Congratulations Christopher!
