- INTERPERTATION OF RULES: Interpretation of the rules will be left exclusively to the Tournament Director.
The Tournament Director's decision will be final on all matters.
- LIVE WELL CHECK, CHECK IN, & REGISTRATION: Live Well Check, Check In and Registration begins at 5:00am CST the morning of the tournament.
Entrants must complete Live well check prior to check in or registration.
- RELEASE FORM: All Competitors must read and sign official release form. TNB is not is not liable for any damages incurred by any contestant in this
tournament. Those who fail to sign Release form WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO FISH!
- SAFETY: Safe boating must be observed at all times, each competitor is required to wear a Coastguard approved P.F.D any time the combustion engine
is running! All boats must have an ignition shutoff device and be fastened to the driver when the engine is running! At checkout time, running lights must be on, and also times prior to morning takeoff. Any fog or weather related delays will not be added to the tournament hours.
- SPORTSMANSHIP: Competitors of this tournament will be expected follow the highest standards of sportsmanship, courtesy, safety, and conservation!
- ALCOHOL AND DRUGS: CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR ILLEGAL DRUG USE IS PROHIBITED DURING TOURNAMENT HOURS.
VIOLATION WILL RESULT IN AN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION!
- BOATS AND MOTORS: All boats must have a live well large enough to hold and keep a limit of 5 bass alive with proper aeration during tournament
hours. Outboard motors must not exceed the maximum horse power rating designated by capacities placard attached to the boat used.
- BAITS AND LURES: Only artificial baits may be used, prepared pork trailers are the only exemption. No trolling is allowed; only one rod can be used at a
time and no longer than 8 feet in length.
- SCORING / Minimum Size Limits: Largemouth and spotted bass must be 15 inches and smallmouth must be 18 inches.
The Official ruler used is the ”GOLDEN RULE”. A 5 fish limit only is to be weighed. Culling must begin with 6th fish. No more than 5 fish in live well.
- PENALTIES: Late penalty is as follows 1 lb per minute late. Dead fish will result in a .50 penalty per fish and after 2 will result in a disqualification. Short
fish will result in disqualification of your largest fish. All fish measured by tournament officials are mouth closed and tail pinched and/or fanned while measuring.
- SCALES: Scales will close 30 minutes after the official end of fishing time. In the event anglers are in the weigh in line; this time may be extended to
weigh the catch of those anglers ALREADY in the weigh in line at the time the scales were to have closed.
- BIG FISH AWARDS: TNB will award big fish prizes for one big largemouth and one big smallmouth. Big Fish pot is 100% payout and split 50%/50%
- PRE-ENTRY: February 18 2012 is the final date we will accept mail in or internet entries by pay pal. Entries recieved after the 18th of February will incur a
late fee of $20.00
- PERMITTED FISHING AREAS: Percy Priest Lake and its tributaries. Any off limits must be observed at marina gas pumps and state designative locations
or a 50 yard radius around another competitor
- POLYGRAPH AND CAMERA RELEASE: BY SIGNING THIS ENTRY FORM ALL CONTESTANTS AGREE TO SUBMIT TO ONE OF THREE POLYGRAPH
TESTS AT THE END OF THE WEIGH IN AND BEFORE PAYOUT OF ANY TOURNAMENT MONIES! ANY FAILURE OR REFUSAL WILL BE GROUNDS FOR IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION! Also by signing this grants TNB to use all names, photo’s, voice and biographical information for local media releases and will not receive compensation or royalties in connection with such use. POLYGRAPH TESTING WILL BE USED AS FOLLOWS. 1st place and 2 random drawn boats from the top finishing field.
